This app gives you a snapshot of the US economy.

Do you want to gauge the current state of the US economy with the latest economic indicators? Do you want to review historical data for patterns across recessions or patterns across Republican and Democratic presidencies?

Do you want to win arguments when people talk about issues like inflation, unemployment, trade, politics relating to the economy etc.? Do you want to make speculative predictions about the economy based on patterns from the past?

This app will help you with all of that and more by giving you latest values of key economic indicators published by the Federal Reserve and tracking the history of these indicators across the past few months, years and decades .

Application Features

1. Latest values of key US economic indicators (Housing, Employment, Manufacturing, Inflation, Trade Deficit, weekly updates of Canadian,Mexican currency exchange rates , M2 Money stock, etc.) published by the US Federal Reserve.

2. Graphs to track economic indicators across many different time ranges and value ranges (by zooming in to a specific time-range e.g. (1980-2000) or value-range)

3. Graphs that track the values of economic indicators across Democratic and Republican presidencies and across Recession periods over the past several decades.

4. Complete list of indicators displayed by the app includes 39 indicators - Business(6), Employment(6), Federal Debt(2), Gross Domestic Product(5), Housing Sector(3), Inflation(2), Interest Rates(4), Monetary Aggregates(2), All/World:Imports and Exports (3), weekly foreign exchange rate with US$ and US imports/exports for Canada(3) and Mexico(3).

5. The ability to save graphs to a file on disk (for later printing, emailing etc.)

The app requires internet connectivity.
