How to get a screenshot/photo of an iPhone screen (app page)
Some of our iPhone Economy app users have asked us for instructions on how to email the economic-trend graphs to themselves. At the moment, there is no way to email the charts from the app. We plan to investigate the possibility of adding this functionality to our next (Jan 2010) release.
In the meanwhile, users can consider using native iPhone OS support for taking screenshots of an iPhone screen (or app page).
Here are the cumbersome steps to take a screenshot using native iPhone OS support.
Note that this functionality is not specific to the iPhone Economy app and it can be used to take the photo/screenshot of any iPhone screen for any app.
1.Launch the iPhone Economy app and navigate to the page that has the graph you’re interested in. Scroll down as necessary
2.Press and hold down the “Home” button on your iPhone. This is the button below the iPhone screen.
3.While holding down the “Home” button, Press and then quickly release the “Sleep” button on your iPhone. The “Sleep” button is on the top of your iPhone on the right side.
After step 3, you’ll see a flash on your screen and a photograph of your screen will be added to your iPhone camera roll.
4.You can now close the Economy app and launch the iPhone “Photos” app. You’ll see the new photo at the end of your camera roll.
Instructions for emailing the screenshot from your iPhone camera roll

2. You’ll see the “Send photo” icon at the bottom of your screen on the left side. If you don’t see the “Send photo” icon, please tap the screen again.
3. Tap the “Send photo” icon and select the “Email photo” option to send the photo in an email to yourself.
4. On your desktop, open the new email and save the attached photo.
