So this error is most probably due to an internet connectivity issue.

However, one of our users reported (on Nov 4) that he was able to connect to the internet with the "New York Times" application and not with the iPhone Election app.

 

We discovered that the problem was limited to the user's Wi-Fi network.

Here is how we fixed the problem on his iPhone.

 

1) Click the “Settings” icon on your iphone
2) Select “Wi-Fi” on the settings page
3) Turn “Wi-Fi” off on the “Wi-Fi Networks” page.

 

After these steps, the user was able to use the Edge network for his iPhone Election app.

Please keep in mind that the Wi-Fi network issue is a very unlikely scenario.

In almost all cases of the "internet connectivity error", trying again after a few seconds or minutes is the right solution
